About

At a young age, I found that photography was something I loved. When I was ten, I saved up one hundred dollars and purchased my first camera. From that moment on I was hooked. I started to document the lives of my family and friends…from camping trips, to birthdays and everything in between. As I grew, so did my love for photography. When I was fresh out of high school, I was lucky enough to work for a high end wedding studio in LA, where I worked on my technique and fine tune my art. I was shooting a lot and gaining knowledge every day. It was photography that lead me to discover another passion, travel.

I traveled all through Europe when I was 19 and it opened my eyes to so many things. After that trip I made it a point to travel as much as possible. I wanted to see the world through my lens. It has been a life changing experience for me, from teaching Cambodian children English, to eating the heart of a cobra in Vietnam. Every chance I got, I threw a dart at a map and jumped on a plane.

Later photography led me to meet the love of my life, Ellice, while working together at the same studio. Once we started dating we made it our goal to travel to at least one new country every year, traveling, shooting and experiencing life all over the world together. We have many crazy stories when things did not go according to plan. Including when I was going to propose to her on a trip through South America but the ring and my camera gear were stolen the day before. I still popped the question at the top of Maccu Piccu and tied a string around her finger. She said yes that day and a year later we said our vows to each other in Marrakech Morocco. Although we kept our photography companies separate we have been able to team up and shoot weddings together in some awesome locations including Russia, Brazil, and India. But nothing tops our most recent adventure… in October of 2014 our daughter was born and it goes without saying she is the light of our lives. She joined our team and by 4 months old she already had a couple stamps in her passport. Photography has literally taken me places. Through my travels and my life experiences my style has grown and changed along with me. I’m always learning and loving it more everyday. It has been a wild ride so far, but it’s only the beginning…
